TPS Lab has been testing fertilizer since the 1960's and pioneered testing of humate, compost and fertilizer with a focus on the benefits to the soil and the plants.
Many of the fertilizer analyses performed are for private label distributors and retailers to confirm what they have received from the blender/bagger conforms to the Guaranteed Analysis label on the bag.
The methods used for N-P-K have extremely narrow ranges, so it is very important to provide the bag label information or expected analysis of the product to decrease report turnaround time, as repetitive testing is otherwise required to determine the correct range.
